Durham Academy Secondary School is located minutes from the Harmony/ Bloor exit in Oshawa. We boast a large, fully equipped gymnasium, weight room, large digital classrooms, and a study room.

Our students benefit from small class sizes which enable us to provide personalized, practise based, scholarly instruction and one on one mentoring. Our school is an inclusive environment where students with all different interests can come and feel part of a larger community.

Partnership with local businesses allow the school to offer a range of activities such as Science, Technology and Engineering workshops and program enhancements as well as opportunities to complete their volunteer hours. Our students enjoy monthly workshops to enhance their curriculum.

Durham Academy Secondary School is a ministry approved inspected private school. Our Guidance office meets with students and families to discuss course selection, post secondary goals and aids in the application process.

Technology is in all of our classrooms with Wi-Fi, Smart board and students are loaned Chrome books and laptops for each year. New students are invited to visit Durham Academy Secondary School for a day to see what we offer.
